Warm live action of a working bakery, dough turning under a machine in raking light, a loaf proving in a wooden bowl, round slashed loaves cooling on a wire rack. Into it walks a cartoon baker built out of two incompatible things: hat, coat and hands are flat drawn shapes in white and yellow, while the face is fully modelled with fur, whiskers, a pink nose and glossy blue eyes, so a painted head sits on a cut-out body and the whole figure is composited onto a real tiled floor. He is given his own drawn shadow on the yellow wall behind the proving bowl, which is the detail that welds the two techniques together, and later a flat yellow hand as big as the loaf reaches in and lifts a wrapped bread off the rack, touching a real object without disturbing it. What appears to be the same character is printed on the bread bag, so the device of the film is the pack illustration climbing off the wrapper and into the bakery. A voice asks what happened when the baker combined good flour, spices and 'ison määrän iloista liikevoimaa' [a large amount of cheerful momentum], then answers with the brand name and 'Hyvällä leivällä on salaisuutensa' [good bread has its secrets], and it ends on a crate of wrapped loaves behind a card reading 'perhe leipurit' [family bakers].
